Obesity will account for 20% of the State Budget for healthcare in 2025
MOAI conducted a study with support from Johnson & Johnson MedTech Portugal, highlight the economic and clinical dimensions of the obesity burden: direct treatment of the disease costs 1.9 billion euros annually, to which must be added another 1.5 billion in expenses related to associated conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and various types of cancer.

Observador published a feature on the “Forum for Innovation in Pneumococcal Disease”, organised by MSD Portugal, which brought together scientific leaders, health authorities, patient organisations, and other stakeholders. The forum included thematic working groups facilitated by MOAI Consulting, which contributed technical expertise on epidemiological surveillance, disease burden and management, and prevention strategies.
